Membership Toolkit

We want to inform you about an important change taking place.  We are in the process of moving over to a new communications and website platform called Membership Toolkit that will make it easier to access all our information and sign-ups in one place.  You may be familiar with it as many PTO/As in the district use it as well.

We ask that you please take the time to set up an account HERE so that you continue receiving up-to-date information about our events.

In-School Grant Program

Dollar Sign

Could your school use more funds for additional GT programming?  A12GTPG has an In-School Grant Program and the application window is now open!  Parents or school staff may apply for small grants ($500 max) to help support programs that benefit GT students in their school.  Applications are due by Nov. 7, 2025.

Please note that while parent volunteers are welcome to apply, the school principal and GT coordinator must sign off on the application.  Apply HERE!

Middle School Madness

Brain Teaser.jpeg

This year's middle school event is coming up on Friday, November 7th at Century Middle School.   Small teams of students will race other teams in this crazy and chaotic combination of Minute-to-Win-It and Great Race inspired challenges.  You can find more information and register when it opens on Tuesday, October 21 on our EVENT PAGE.

If you are a parent or high school student who would like to join in the fun by helping to supervise one of the challenges, please consider signing up HERE to help.  As a token of our appreciation, volunteers who sign up by Oct. 18 will receive priority registration for their MS student.  Thank you!

We are excited to share an upcoming opportunity for the GT community at Stargate Charter School!  Stargate is hosting a one-hour parent education presentation entitled "Gifted 101."  They have generously opened the event to include all GT families in the district.  Come hear from Dr. Robin Greene, Executive Director of Stargate, and Dr. Cynthia Rundquist, Director of Gifted Curriculum & Instruction at Stargate, as they help you get your bearings on topics such as: What does it mean to be gifted? and How can I best support my gifted student?  Childcare and translation services will be provided at no cost to families.  If you’re interested, please fill out this Google Form.  For questions about the event, feel free to reach out to kristen.mansure@stargateschool.org

New to GT?
Do you have a newly-identified GT student?

We know parents who are new to the world of GT often have many questions about what GT identification will mean for their child.  If you are unsure where to start, check out these short videos for parents of newly-identified GT students and look over the other resources available on our page.  If you have other questions, we are here to help!  Just send us an email at info@a12gifted.org.  Welcome!

Stay Connected
Get involved!

Did you know that all of our parent education meetings, Super Saturday's, MS activities, and field trips are planned and coordinated by parents like you? In order to continue providing these programs for you and your children, we need your help! Please become involved in your child's education by volunteering to help with an Adams 12 GT Parents Group event or by attending one of our monthly Leadership meetings to learn about GT resources and updates and plan events for Adams 12 GT families.  You can see all the current events in our latest newsletter.  Please contact us with your questions at info@a12gifted.org

Build Community
Support GT programs in your school!

The school district and the A12GTPG will continue to build the "school liaison" program to strengthen communication to families and to build our GT community.  Each liaison has the opportunity to join meetings during the school year where district staff, the A12GTPG and other Liaisons gather to discuss how to best bring resources to our schools, GT students and their families. Help us move forward GT programming in your school!

Gracias!
